During the week of September 26th the Central Florida Chapter of Delta Upsilon participated in the Annual Panhellenic King Philanthropy. The Panhellenic Council is the sorority equivalent of the IFC. Brothers Byron Gilbert ’08 and Neil Sneath ’07 represented the chapter during the events.

There was a progressive dinner where each sorority prepared food from a different culture to help show the diversity of the organizations and the University of Central Florida. Gilbert and Sneath performed in a talent competition with an interpretive dance of the song “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly.

More than 90 percent of the Central Florida Chapter’s 100 man chapter attended the competition. Brothers also participated in a canned food drive donating approximately 700 of the 3000 can food products that were collected throughout the competition. The Panhellenic Council held a barbeque to prior to their awards ceremony where Byron and Neil were announced as “Pan Kings”.
